This summer, my family and I had a wonderful vacation in Japan, visiting both Kyoto and Kyushu. In Kyoto, we explored beautiful temples and admired their traditional architecture, with elegant wooden buildings and peaceful gardens that reflected Japan’s rich history. In Kyushu, we spent time enjoying nature, surrounded by green mountains and stunning waterfalls. We loved listening to the sound of the rushing water and taking in the fresh air together. The trip gave us the chance to experience both Japan’s cultural heritage and its natural beauty, creating special memories that our family will always cherish.

We are having the best Saturday at Sesame Place San Diego! The weather is perfect, and the kids are completely in their element.
They’ve been running back and forth between water slides and the splash areas, and we just finished a super relaxing lap around Big Bird`s Rumbling River. The kids` absolute favotite is the Honker Dinger Dash, starting off with an enclosed tunnel with a 180-degree turn and enjoying the thrilling race down the colorful water slides! Plus, getting to mix in some roller coasters with all the water activities has kept them completely entertained.
There are plenty of eateries and concession stands in the park to keep you stay hydrated as well as life vests everywhere for you to grab as safety precautions.
Sesame Place San Diego has something for everyone. It’s just a really fun, easygoing day under the sun for your whole families.

⭐ Tango’s Gotcha Celebration – From July 10-12, guests can celebrate Elmo’s adopted puppy, Tango, and the day she made her way to Sesame Street. Guests can meet Tango throughout the day and are invited to go on a scavenger hunt around the park to find all the puppy items Elmo needs to take care of Tango! Guests can pick up a free scavenger hunt sheet at Guest Services.
⭐ Waterpark Challenge – On July 28, in honor of National Waterpark Day, water slide enthusiasts are invited to Sesame Place San Diego to complete the Waterpark Challenge and enjoy select water rides and slides for a prize.
⭐ Best Friends Weekend – A celebration of friendship all weekend long August 1-2! From Bert and Ernie to Elmo and Abby, these friends are pairing up to share fun and heartwarming moments with guests. The park offers Best Friends Meet & Greets, a special friendship-themed storytime, and more!
⭐ B is for Bubbles Weekend – Bubbles all around from August 7 - 9 as families will be dazzled by bubble performers, meeting enchanting mermaids, and jumping to the beat during the Furry Friends Bubble Dance Party.

We visited Passport to Santa this mornign and it was an absolute holiday blast, packed with sparkle, smiles, and sugar! Kids struck their best poses in glamorous photo spots decked out with over-the-top festive décor creating memories worthy of a winter wonderland postcard. They delighted in visiting Mrs. Claus before running off to play festive carnival games such as ring toss, candy sorting, and more that kept the excitement going. The finale ended with a photo with Santa and it was absolutely the perfect ending to a memorial experience here.
With every stop, from the laughter-filled activities to the delicious holiday treats, the event captured the warm, playful spirit of the season. It was pure Christmas joy on overdrive—and everyone left buzzing with that irresistible holiday magic.
