Santa Ana Zoo Sunsets At The Zoo After Hours 2022

OC Residents Get Ready to Swing into Summer with Some Amazing Musical Talent! June 26 & July 10 at 5:30 pm

The Santa Ana Zoo’s after-hours “Sunsets at the Zoo” are back by popular demand. The Zoo’s after-hours summer concerts will take place Sunday, June 26 and Sunday, July 10 at 5:30 pm. Tickets must be purchased online at www.santaanazoo.org in advance. Ticket numbers are limited for each night.

In addition to enjoying live music from local artists and bands under the California sky, Sunsets at the Zoo offers a unique, after-hours experience to see the animal residents prepare for their evening activities. Zoo members and guests are encouraged to bring their cameras, pack a picnic at the outdoor concert in the Amphitheatre. All proceeds raised this year will go towards upgrading the primate habitats at the Zoo!

“Sunsets at the Zoo are great events that every generation will love,” said Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo Board President David Exline. “It’s awesome to experience the Zoo after hours, while listening to live music and taking in the beauty of the grounds and gardens. You can also take some incredible photos to share with friends!”

Event dates are: Sunday, June 26, 5:30-7:30 pm, featuring “High in the 80’s” Band with 1980’s music and Sunday, July 10, 5:30-7:30 pm, featuring “Living Cover” with current music of the day.

Admission to Sunsets at the Zoo is $25 per person ages 3 & up, and $15 for FOSAZ Members. Members SAVE close to half off! Children under 3 are free. For more information on joining as a Member visit www.santaanazoo.org.

The Santa Ana Zoo is home to more than 260 animals, including some of the most interesting and engaging primates, and several endangered species. The parking, park, and grounds are wheel-chair accessible. The Zoo is beautifully landscaped and showcases a wide array of succulents, flowers, and other conservation-friendly varietals. Inside the Zoo there is a wonderful playground with nearby seating for parents and guardians. Also available throughout the Zoo are shaded picnic tables and rest areas. The famous Zoofari Express Train, Conservation Carrousel, and Fifty Monkey Ferris Wheel operate Friday through Sunday. Guest admission, ride ticket, and gift shop purchases contribute to the Zoo’s conservation funds.

Open daily for admission from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, the Santa Ana Zoo participates in conservation efforts to save local and South American species, including frogs, turtles, and lion tamarins.
